Getting to Know Jan Brett

Howdie Friends!
This month's author of the month is going to be Jan Brett. Before we begin reading her books in class I want you to go to her site by clicking on the link below and find out a little bit about her. Tell me some of the things that you found that you have in common with her. For example:
I know that I too like Jan love to travel. My husband and I had a chance to go to Germany over the summer and it took my breath away. The picture above is me standing on the tallest mountain in Germany. Jan said that she gets a lot of her inspiration from traveling. I know that I get my inspiration for story ideas from my silly dogs and cats. Sam and Gracie my English Mastiffs, and also from my two cats Buster and Tweak. One day I would love to publish my picture books that I have written about my 4 crazy companions.
Jan also has her own blog. Check it out and tell me what you like or do not like about it. Do you see any similarities to ours? What else did you find while you were exploring her website?
